Grabbed brunch at this hot spot with my sister. Very small location with friendly staff and the open kitchen add a lot of engagement and interest to the space.
Had a good variety of sushi options, many with a clear western influence. Very 'western friendly'. Loved the option of creating custom rolls with any fillings (will have to give this a try next time!)

Our picks were the sashimi, potato roll, chicken roll and soft shell crab roll and a side of edamame. I cannot remember the exact names of the rolls sorry. Favourite was probably the soft shell crab.
Overall I like the presentation style and variety, but it is quite pricey for the quality and taste, as well as quantity of food. Wasn't exactly fantastic but still very good, and probably a great place to sample if you're in the area. Good strength of flavour in the dishes but the sushi lacked texture. It is on the mushy side despite each roll including many different ingredients and the variety of textures that are expected from the ingredients misses the bar. I expected the crispness of the crab, the smoothness of the potato to bring excitement into the dining experience but it fell a little flat.
